We assess and provide direct Community Outreach services and Information to people in the South Okanagan.

We assist people in communities from Osoyoos to north of Summerland, east to Rock Creek and west to Princeton, also known as the South Okanagan/Similkameen and Boundary country.

Not only that, our outreach workers are also on the front lines in our community. They continue to advocate for the needs of our clients through their participation in community events. Furthermore, they collaborate with other community-minded organizations to assist our community.

We have advocates visiting the following locations:

Fairhaven 2:30pm – 5pm
Foundry Penticton 3pm – 5pm

Summerland 9:00am – 11:00am

Compass Court 10am – 2pm

Burdock 10am – 1pm

In conclusion, the Access Centre connects people in our community with the support, services and resources they need to move their lives forward.

Food Resources

We can assist in connecting you to local food resources in the area and apply for a crisis grant for unexpected expenses.

Housing Resources

We know how hard it is to find safe, affordable housing in this community.  We don’t have any housing resources, however, we can assist with BC Housing Applications, and can refer to SOSBIS.

Income Assistance

We are able to help you to fill out Income Assistance or Employment Insurance forms and guide you to resources available, depending on your situation. We are here to listen, to advocate on your behalf, and to get you the help you need.
